Companies of foreign interest – Employment Visa
The migration policy for third-country nationals working in foreign-owned companies in Cyprus offers temporary work permits. It covers entry visas, employment permits, renewals, and family immigration, based on Aliens and Immigration Law (Cap. 105). This now includes Cyprus shipping firms and firms with Cypriot citizenship through investment. Eligible Cyprus firms:
Staff categories:
- Majority shares owned by third-country nationals.
- Minimum €200,000 foreign investment, proven by bank and legal documents.
- Operate from independent offices in Cyprus.
Staff categories:
- Directors: Min. monthly salary €3872, up to 5 people.
- Middle Management and key staff: Min. salary €1936 - €3871, up to 10 people. Additional staff can be requested with company justification and documentation.
